News on the condition of my dad first. After one slight scare, which included a trip back to the hospital, it appears he is making a gradual but steady improvement. He is still in pain thanks to his ribs and collar bone, but does seem to get better a little bit each day. We took the twins to Royal Victoria Park yesterday. We just had a short stroll around the botanical gardens where we met Andy, Fi and Harrison. It was a nice little afternoon excursion. On Sunday evening we went to see the Gipsy Kings in concert at Dyrham Park just a few miles north of Bath. It was a great evening with good weather and a fun atmosphere. I've just read that Layer Cake is getting its US premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month. So, for all my America-based friends (those I have been telling to go see it) keep your eyes open because it should be coming to your area soon, I hope.
